Here's how it works
If you are building a new house or renovating your existing home, HotChilly recommend you contact them at the planning stages. This allows them to work with your architect or builder to co-ordinate installation at the optimum time. HotChilly determines the best placement for your unit to maximise heating efficiency and in many cases be able to carry out a ‘pre-pipe’ of the unit/s. Pre-piping ensures all piping required runs inside the walls, alleviating the need to have any trunking displayed on the exterior of your home.
Heat Pumps have both an exterior and an interior unit. The interior
units are either High-Walls, which are situated near the ceiling, or
Floor Consoles, which are mounted on the floor against the wall. The
least expensive installation is called ‘back to back’. This means the
exterior unit and the inside unit are on either side of the same wall,
minimising the amount of piping between them.
In most cases our visit will take around half an hour. We may be able
to give you an on-the-spot quotation, however generally we will send
