Green Star Buildings

Green Star Buildings are becoming more prevalent due to the heightened awareness of being environmentally friendly – not only on an operational aspect but also in the initial construction. The majority of work towards gaining a Green Star Certified Building happens in the design and construction stages, with various levels to be achieved, 6 stars being the highest. When working on a Green Star Building HotChilly need to be extra vigilant in all aspects of manufacturing and installation.

Bean Green

Each Heat Pump comes wrapped in polystyrene and encased in cardboard. HotChilly have been recycling the cardboard for years now and in 2009 decided that instead of binning the polystyrene, they would recycle it into HotChilly bean bags!! Every new residential customer in 2009 that installed a HotChilly Heat Pump was given the option to recycle their packaging in exchange for a FREE red or blue bean bag! Now that's COOL...
